Those of you who are my patients or who read my blogs are well aware that, although I think vitamins and supplements, for the most part, are unnecessary, I am a BIG fan of Vitamin D.
However, not all Vitamin D products are created equally.





A recent study in JAMA suggests the long term use of Bisphosphonate drugs may actually increase the risk of thigh fractures, especially use for greater than five- years.
Osteoporosis is a very common disease associated with significant morbidity and mortality. For many years, studies have shown use of a calcium supplement has been recommended for postmenopausal women to decrease fracture risk.
