PROBIOTICS: An UpdatePosted by drmishner in probiotics update , probiotic products , Probioplus DDS , FDA , Cran-Gyn DDS , Acidophilus |

On June 7, 2011 the FDA removed all probiotic products made by UAS Labs in Minnesota. This company was marketing these products as drugs that would cure colds, flu, bladder infections, ulcers, yeast infections and even cholesterol. The names of the products are: DDS Acidophilus, DDS Plus, Probioplus DDS, DDS Junior and Cran-Gyn DDS.
Please remember that when a company manufactures and sells a supplement, they CAN NOT make any medical claims without proof.
